First off let’s talk about your musical background. You’ve been involved in music for 35 years in various genres. When did you start playing jazz and improvising specifically?
I first started venturing into jazz 5 or 6 years ago when I discovered Marc Ribot’s work. I’d been listening to a lot of Tom Waits, and loved the guitar work on Rain Dogs.
